Rematch? Haney and Garcia on the Fight

On April 21st at the Barclays Center in New York, USA, Ryan Garcia (25-1, 20 KOs) won by majority decision against the WBC super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Devin Haney (31-1, 15 KOs).

After the defeat, Haney called for a rematch: "I would like to have a rematch. I gave him a chance, it's only right that he gives me one in return. He didn’t make weight, so I am still the champion. We can do this again."

"Guys, did you really think I was out of my mind?" said Garcia.

Ryan failed to make the weight and was ineligible for the title. The WBC belt remains with Devin.
