WBA Regular Heavyweight champion Kubrat Pulev has declared he is ready to face former undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk after his upcoming fight with Murat Gassiev.
“Dubai will see two warriors, two knockout artists, two men who live for victory. I respect Murat, but I am the champion.
I will proudly defend my title, and then I want a fight against Usyk for the undisputed crown,” Pulev said.
Pulev (32-3, 14 KOs) and Gassiev (32-2, 25 KOs) will meet on December 12 in Dubai.
Oleksandr Usyk is no longer the undisputed champion. He vacated the WBO title, and the Organization appointed Fabio Wardley as the new champion.
