Erol Ceylan, the promoter of Ukrainian super-heavyweight contender Victor Vykhryst, discussed the current state of his fighter, who recently experienced a rib fracture in his bout against Lenier Perot, leading to the first loss of his professional career.
The Ukrainian boxer's representative indicated that his client might make a return to the ring this summer.
"He is currently recovering from three broken ribs. No ordinary fighter would have continued to box until the eighth round with such an injury. If he went down, he could have pierced his internal organs and even died.”
“Victor is one of the future biggest fighters in the world. Perhaps he will make a comeback in the summer. Later this year, I'd like to secure him major fights in the US and UK," Ceylan shared with Luckypunch.
