"He Has Everything." Promoter on Bakole's Top-Level Potential

Promoter Ben Shalom explained why heavyweight boxer Martin Bakole (20-1, 15 KOs) poses a real threat to the champions and tops of the division.

"The Congolese puncher is an incredibly dangerous opponent for anyone in his weight class. He has all the physical qualities necessary to reach the pinnacle of the sport. His stamina is superb, he is very strong, and besides all that, he is a very good boxer. It's only a matter of time before he's dining at the top table with the likes of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk. Undoubtedly, he will create real problems for all of them. They all know how difficult an opponent he will be. Bakole has sparred with Joshua, Fury, and Usyk. If you asked them what they think of him, they would agree that he has everything. He's not someone Usyk can easily overcome; he's not someone Fury can lean on and dominate with his size; and he's not someone Joshua can destroy," Shalom wrote.

Bakole last fought in the autumn of 2023, securing an early victory against Carlos Takam. Following this, Shalom announced he is trying to arrange a final eliminator for Bakole for the WBA title currently held by Oleksandr Usyk.
