Promoter Calls Munguia the "New Face of Boxing"

Fernando Beltran, the head of Zanfer Boxing, stated that Mexican boxer Jaime Munguia, following his victory over John Ryder, is now the face of boxing.

It's a pleasure to watch him. Look at the arena. Look at the arenas in other cities. And he filled a lot of seats in Phoenix. We are proud of him. Many more fighters are ahead. We want to celebrate, not talk about the next opponents," said Beltran.

Jaime Munguia defeated John Ryder by technical knockout in the 9th round. This defeat marked Ryder's second consecutive loss; last year, he lost to Saul Alvarez by a judges' decision.
