Prograis' Coach Names Hardest Opponent for Haney

The coach of former world champion Regis Prograis (29-2, 24 KOs), Evin Tobler, has identified one boxer who could be considered the most difficult opponent for WBC super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).

"Subriel Matias is very dangerous for Haney because he has a good punch, but a cat like Devin is hard to catch. You need to know how to take away his space. With my ten years of experience in boxing, I see how Haney uses his 'hit-move-defend' style to win by a boring decision. Fans will boo him throughout the fight and during his post-fight interview. In other words, it will be a repetition of Haney's controversial victory over Vasiliy Lomachenko. It will be a bad fight. If Matias can't get to Haney, it will be the same as Devin's fight against Prograis. Haney made that fight unwatchable by running from Regis' punches for 12 rounds. Yes, Matias will be the hardest opponent for Haney. I don't think the other guys pose a threat to him," said Tobler. Haney became champion in the super lightweight after defeating Prograis by decision. Devin's next fight is on April 20 against Ryan Garcia in New York.
