We present an overview of the key boxing matchups happening this weekend in the UK and the USA.

Jack Catterall (27-1, 13 KO) vs. Jorge Linares (47-8, 29 KO)

Title Fight: WBA Inter-Continental in the first super lightweight division

Jack Catterall faces his first renowned opponent since suffering his inaugural career loss. Early in 2022, he was defeated by Josh Taylor in a contentious bout for the absolute championship. Despite the unresolved decision for a rematch, Catterall has continued to prevail, most recently securing a judges' decision victory over Derrig Folly. He now prepares to go up against Linares.

Jorge Linares hasn't seen victory since 2020. During this time, he faced losses to Heini in the USA and two defeats on Russian soil. Linares has come up short in all three of these matches.

Alexis Rocha (23-1, 15 KO) vs. Giovanni Santillan (31-0, 16 KO)
