According to ESPN Mexico analyst Salvador Rodriguez, the bout between WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk (18-0, 9 KOs) and WBO second super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) may take place on May 18. The likely venue is the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, USA.

Navarrete recently underwent surgery on his left hand after a draw with Robson Conceicao. Berinchik's last fight was in August 2023, where he defeated Anthony Igita by judges' decision.

It's worth noting that on May 18, a fight between Alexander Usyk and Tyson Fury is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.
