Porter Sees Sense in Ruiz-Dubois Bout: "A Knockout Choice"

Former champ Shawn Porter weighed in on Andy Ruiz's next potential matchup:

"I'm eager to see Andy Ruiz back in the ring. Matching him up with Daniel Dubois? Now that definitely makes sense," Porter remarked.

Andy Ruiz has been out of the ring since his September 2022 bout. He clinched a unanimous decision win against Luis Ortiz then. Post-fight, there was buzz about various contenders, including a showdown with Deontay Wilder for a shot at the WBC title. Alas, their camps couldn't seal the deal.

On the flip side, Daniel Dubois's last scrap was on December 23. He floored Jarrell Miller with a technical knockout in round 10.
