Pomerleau and Biggs Reach WBC Grand Prix Final in Middleweight

On October 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the WBC Grand Prix semifinals were held across four weight divisions: Featherweight, Super Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight.

In the Middleweight division (up to 72.6 kg), the semifinal results were:

– Derek Pomerleau (15-0, 11 KOs) defeated Carlos Sinisterra (13-2, 10 KOs) by majority decision (MD) over 6 rounds;

– Dylan Biggs (17-1, 9 KOs) earned a unanimous decision (UD) over 6 rounds against Lancelot Proton de la Chapelle (17-2-2, 5 KOs).

Derek Pomerleau and Dylan Biggs will now face each other in the WBC Grand Prix final at Middleweight.
