“This platform gives far more opportunities for the athlete,”- Usyk about Ready to Fight

World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk shared his expectations for the upcoming bout against Tyson Fury and discussed his project Ready To Fight, designed to simplify athletes' lives, in an interview on NASDAQ.

Fighting Fury for Legacy, Not Money

"We will be boxing for the legacy of this century. A battle awaits all of us, the little winner against the big guy".

"I think Fury just underestimated Francis Ngannou, and Ngannou did a good job in the gym and in the ring. Few gave Francis a chance, and I thought the chances were slim too."

"But with me, Tyson will be different. He will draw some conclusions from his last fight.

But I don't care how he will be. What matters to me is how I will be."

Ready to Fight Won't Allow Boxers to be Deceived

"Ready to Fight is a platform that provides many more opportunities for athletes, will shutting out those who would deceive them creating a much fairer and democratised boxing landscape."

The Usyk vs. Fury fight is scheduled for February 2024. Earlier, Usyk explained why he admires his future opponent.
