Plant and Charlo Could Still Reach a Deal for Their Fight

According to Ring Magazine, American Super Middleweights Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo are in negotiations for a fight that could take place in 2026.

In May 2025, both appeared on the same event. The original idea was that if both men won, the fight between them would be announced immediately afterward — however, Plant was defeated by Jose Armando Resendiz.

It is now expected that Resendiz will face Edgar Berlanga on the same card.

There is already history between Plant and Charlo — in a previous incident, Caleb struck Jermall, and the two had to be separated.
