Peter McGrail Defeats Rhys Edwards

On December 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a super featherweight bout (up to 59 kg) took place between Britons Peter McGrail (11-1, 6 KOs) and Rhys Edwards (16-1, 4 KOs).

The fight went the full 10 rounds and ended with McGrail securing a unanimous decision victory. The judges scored the bout 96-95 and 96-94 twice in favor of McGrail.

In September, Peter McGrail stopped Brad Foster with a second-round knockout. In May, Rhys Edwards earned a unanimous decision victory over Thomas Ward.
