Joseph Parker, a former world heavyweight champion, will assist WBC champion Tyson Fury in his preparation for the upcoming fight for the absolute world championship title against current holder of WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has opened his training camp for this purpose, while Usyk is also actively training with only one day off in his schedule.
Usyk has agreed to Fury's proposal to split the fee for the fight 70/30, with the condition that Fury donates one million pounds to Ukraine immediately after the fight. The fight is scheduled for April 29 at Wembley Stadium.
Both boxers have informed the WBA of the agreement, and the association has given them time to finalize a contract for the fight instead of obligating Usyk to defend his belt against challenger Daniel Dubois.
