Official: Parker vs. Wardley Set for October 25

It’s now official — a Heavyweight showdown between interim WBO champion Joseph Parker and interim WBA champion Fabio Wardley will take place on October 25 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

"All or nothing. Parker chasing glory. Wardley’s hunger for greatness — this is war in the capital," the announcement read.

Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs), age 33, last fought in February, stopping Martin Bakole in the second round. Originally slated to face Daniel Dubois, the bout was changed after Dubois withdrew due to illness.

Fabio Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs), age 30, scored a dramatic comeback knockout against Justis Huni in June, despite trailing on the scorecards. At the time of the stoppage, the judges had it 88-83 and 89-82 twice in favor of Huni.
