Former eight‑division champion Manny Pacquiao says he is ready for a second showdown with former pound‑for‑pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., who defeated him by decision in 2015 — but the bout must be an official fight, not an exhibition.
“It's hard to talk about a fighter who has already retired. If he comes back, let him sign the contract and we’ll fight. We’ll do it again if he wants — no problem. I’m active now and I don’t cherry‑pick opponents. I’ll fight anyone in my weight class,” Pacquiao said.
The 46‑year‑old Pacquiao (62‑8‑3, 39 KOs) boxed to a draw with 30‑year‑old WBC champion Mario Barrios in July 2025, falling short of becoming world champion once more. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50‑0, 27 KOs), now 48, last fought officially in 2017, stopping Conor McGregor before limiting himself to exhibition bouts.
