Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino boxing legend with a 62-8-2 and 39 KOs tally, might cut weight for a clash with WBA light heavyweight champ Gervonta Davis (61.2 kg).
"Gervonta's a solid fighter, sure. If he hits 147 pounds (66.67 kg), we can rumble. 145 pounds (65.7 kg) is doable too. It's no biggie for me, I've got the rounds under my belt," Pacquiao remarked.
Echoing this, Manny's adviser, Sean Gibbson, mentioned, "He's technically not out. He wants to face Gervonta and Ryan, and there's buzz about Conor McGregor, too. Manny's got a year left and he's in top shape."
Before any of these bouts, Pacquiao is set for an exhibition match against Thai fighter Buakav Banchamek under boxing rules on March 20.
