Over 150 Million UAH in Donations: Vitali Klitschko Highlights Oleksandr Usyk's Generosity

Ukraine's heavyweight champ and Ready To Fight co-founder, Oleksandr Usyk, punches his way into Ukraine's top 100 leaders list by Ukrainian Pravda. These leaders are each vouched for by an expert in their field. The "eternal" WBC champion, Vitali Klitschko, steps into the ring to talk about Oleksandr Usyk:

"When russia's full-blown war blindsided Oleksandr in Kyiv, he was ringside, defending the capital's territory. As the invaders got the boot from Kyiv and Kharkiv, Usyk and I went toe-to-toe in a heart-to-heart. The million-dollar question: Should Usyk hang up his gloves for a rifle? I told Oleksandr he'd pack a bigger punch championing Ukraine's cause from the sports arena. His bouts were broadcast in over 200 countries - every win was an anthem for Ukraine, and every flag raised a victory for our colors!

Every win counts in this fight for Ukraine, whether on the front line or back home. Sure, boxing's big bucks, but what you do with the dough counts. Usyk's also a knockout in this arena - quietly funneling his fight purse into the war effort. He's in the charity ring, auctioning and donating big to back our defenders. To date, Usyk's war chest for Ukraine tops 150 million UAH."

Usyk's next showdown? February 17, squaring off against Tyson Fury.
