Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin (27-3, 15 KOs) shared his thoughts on his unanimous decision loss to Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs).
"I’m okay. Of course, I’m disappointed, but that’s life. I gave it my best. Derek is a tough guy—he’s 41 years old, but he’s a real fighter, and I respect him a lot."
Regarding the first knockdown, Wallin admitted he wasn’t entirely sure what happened:
I don’t know exactly—I think I lost my balance a bit. He probably landed a shot, but since I’m a southpaw, sometimes your feet can tangle, and you lose balance. Was that the reason? I’m not sure. I need to watch the replay.
Chisora is strong—definitely one of the hardest punchers I’ve faced. I think he’ll have at least one more fight. He’s a good fighter, so let’s see what he decides to do next", said Wallin.
On February 8, Derek Chisora defeated Otto Wallin by unanimous decision, securing a key victory in his career.
