Oscar De La Hoya Hints at Fight Between Ryan Garcia and Teofimo Lopez

Founder and head of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya, hinted at a potential bout between Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) and WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs).

"We're all eagerly awaiting the return of Ryan Garcia. What do you think about that, Teofimo Lopez?" De La Hoya tweeted.

As a reminder, in April, Garcia won a decision against Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs); however, the result was overturned due to Ryan's failed drug test, resulting in a one-year suspension for the boxer.

Teofimo Lopez last stepped into the ring in June, where he defeated Steve Claggett (39-8-2, 27 KOs) by unanimous decision.
