Ortiz Prepared Differently to Fight Teofimo

American super lightweight boxer Jamaine Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs) discussed the unique aspects of his preparation for his last fight, where he faced WBO champion Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs).

"Yall wanna know something wild, I Trained my whole camp as an orthodox, and decided the week before to Fight Teo as a southpaw," Ortiz admitted.

Teofimo and Jemaine met in February 2024. The bout was quite close, and Lopez won by unanimous decision, defending his belt. After the match, Ortiz declared that he was confident in his victory.

Currently, neither Teofimo nor Jemaine have a named opponent for their next fight.
