Oleksandr Usyk returned to the training process

Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion, has returned to training.

A video from a Ukrainian boxer's training session appeared on social networks. It is noted that this is Usyk's first training after the fight with Anthony Joshua.

Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in his last WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title fight. According to the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision of the judges: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.

Immediately after the victory in the rematch against Anthony, Usyk challenged the WBC champion Tyson Fury to a fight. Then the Ukrainian said that a match against Fury in December is impossible.

Promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk said that the working date of the fight between Usyk and Fury is February 18. Another promoter, Frank Warren, said that the Ukrainian will be Fury's next opponent after the Briton's fight with Derek Chisora, which is scheduled for December 3.

This same thesis was confirmed by Tyson himself, who declared his readiness to fight with the Ukrainian after the fight with Derek. In addition, the Gypsy King announced three fights for 2023.

According to promoter Bob Arum, the fight between Usyk and Fury will take place in the last week of February or the first week of March. Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates can host the event.

In addition, the IBF obliged Usyk to meet with the mandatory challenger - Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic. The Croatian boxer's team is already preparing for a confrontation with Oleksandr.
