On November 23, in Heidelberg, Germany, Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Zakhozhyi (19-0, 15 KOs) is set to defend his EBU European heavyweight title (over 90.7 kg).
Zakhozhyi was initially scheduled to face Arnold Gjergjaj (38-3, 27 KOs); however, the Swiss boxer sustained an injury.
The new opponent for the Ukrainian is Kosovo's Labinot Xhoxhaj (19-0-1, 16 KOs).
For Xhoxhaj, this bout will be his third in 2024, following stoppage victories over Semir Dautovic in April and Vaclav Trojacek in September.
Zakhozhyi, meanwhile, knocked out Granit Shala in April.
