Olympic gold medalist Oleksandr Khizhniak received a financial reward from two-time undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Khizhniak visited Usyk’s training camp in Spain, where he was presented with $100,000. The funds were transferred to his personal card via Ready To Pay, a payment service created by Usyk’s team.
Ahead of the Paris Olympics, Usyk promised financial rewards to Ukrainian boxers who secured medals. Khizhniak was the only Ukrainian boxer to reach the podium.
Additionally, Khizhniak signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ready to Fight platform. Under the agreement, RTF will focus on advancing Khizhniak's career, promoting his personal brand, securing sponsorship deals, and driving his visibility in the boxing world.
“Collaborating with Oleksandr Khizhniak is an excellent opportunity to showcase how modern technology can support boxers in building their careers,” said RTF co-founder Serhiy Lapin.
“Working with Oleksandr Usyk’s team is an invaluable experience for me. I see a group of motivated professionals committed to their mission,” Khizhniak commented.
“The Olympic champion is in my camp. As I promised before the Olympics, $100,000 has been credited to his Ready To Pay card. This is just the beginning of what we can achieve together,” declared Oleksandr Usyk.
