Officially: Nicholas Walters to Face Joseph Adorno

According to information published on the boxing statistics website BoxRec, 38-year-old Jamaican super featherweight (up to 58.96 kg) Nicholas Walters (28-1-1, 22 KOs) is set to meet lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) contender Joseph Adorno (18-3-2, 15 KOs).

The fight is scheduled for March 27 in Plant City, USA.

Walters' last fight took place in November of the previous year against Reynaldo Esquivia (9-22, 3 KOs), where Nicholas won by technical knockout. Walters was the WBA world champion from 2014 until he lost the title to Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) in November 2016, after which he announced his retirement but returned to the ring in February of the previous year. Adorno, in November 2023, knocked out Jonathan Perez (41-40, 33 KOs).
