Official: Mbilli Receives First Opponent from Top Rank

The next bout for French WBC Continental super middleweight champion (up to 76,2 kg), 28-year-old Christian Mbilli (26-0, 22 KOs), has been officially announced. On May 25 in Canada, he will defend his title against 32-year-old Canadian Mark Heffron (30-3-1, 24 KOs).

Also confirmed for the undercard of the event is a fight between Canadian of Russian descent, Arslanbek Makhmudov (18-1, 17 KOs), and New Zealander Junior Fa (20-3, 11 KOs).

Christian Mbilli recently signed a contract with the promotional company Top Rank. This will be his first bout since signing with the new promoter.
