Novitsky: "I Am the Future of Ukrainian Heavyweight"

During the DAZN Boxing broadcast on March 4th, dedicated to the show on March 8th, the main event will feature a bout between former heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-1). Ukrainian Andriy Novitsky (9-0, 8 KOs), who will fight in the undercard that evening against 37-year-old American Juan Torres (11-5-1, 4 KOs), visited the studio and claimed that he is the future of the division.

The arena in Saudi Arabia is very good, and I will show good boxing there.

This must be a very exciting moment for you. You are a young heavyweight, and the division is looking for the stars of the future.

Of course. I am the future. I am the Ukrainian future.

You have a very strong right hand.

Yes, I have a very-very good right punch.

And that will be the punch to finish the fight on Friday?

Absolutely. I've prepared well with my friend for the fight. You never know what will happen, but I will do my job and win by knockout.

The event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In February, Andriy knocked out Bobby O'Bannon (10-7, 10 KOs). For O'Bannon, it was his first fight since June 2013.
