Norman vs Sasaki: Undercard Results

On June 19, at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, a Welterweight (66.7 kg / 147 lbs) title bout was held between WBO champion Brian Norman Jr (28-0, 22 KOs) of the United States and Japanese challenger Jin Sasaki (19-2-1, 17 KOs).

The fight ended in a stoppage win for the champion — Norman dropped Sasaki twice in the first round and scored a final knockout in the fifth. Sasaki had to be carried out of the ring on a stretcher. KO 5.
