Normans on Haney fight: “He’s going to sleep”

WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman shared how he believes his bout against former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney will end.

“The time has come. The talk is over.

You see this belt on my shoulder. I came in with it — and I’ll leave with it. After this fight, you’re going to respect me. You’ll see.” – Brian Norman Jr.

His father, Brian Norman Sr., promised a knockout.

“Against Ramirez, Haney ran around the ring. When Ramirez threw — he landed. I told Bill to fix that s*.

But it doesn’t matter, because we’ll break through his defense.

They say his footwork is elite. His ‘elite legs’ only showed up against José Ramirez. One of the lowest punch outputs in a 12-round fight. He keeps his head on one line.

Haney is going to sleep. Every opponent he fought already had losses.” – Brian Norman Sr.

The title clash between Norman (28-0, 22 KO) and Haney (32-0, 15 KO) will take place on 22 November in Riyadh.
