Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) shared his thoughts following his defeat to blogger and boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).
"This is one of those situations where you lose, but at the same time, you win. I'm grateful for last night. No regrets about stepping into the ring once more.
In June, I nearly died. I underwent 8 blood transfusions, lost half my blood and 11 kg in the hospital, and had to fight to recover and get back in the ring – I won.
Having the opportunity for my children to see me go eight rounds with a talented fighter half my age, in front of a packed Dallas Cowboys stadium – that's an experience no one could ask for. Thank you," Tyson wrote.
On the night of November 16, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson by unanimous decision. The fight lasted eight rounds of two minutes each, and the result was added to both boxers' records.
