Krassyuk: "No Disrespect to the Referee, But He Stole the Knockout"

Promoter and CBDO of Ready To Fight, Alexander Krassyuk, commented on the victory of the undisputed world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) over Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

"I am exhausted. I cheered for and supported Usyk throughout the entire fight. No disrespect to the referee, but he stole the knockout. That's my opinion. It was an amazing performance," said Krassyuk.

In the 9th round, after an extended attack by the Ukrainian, the referee began counting a knockdown for Fury while he was still on his feet, close to falling to the canvas.

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Usyk's victory by split decision. The judges' scores were: 115-112 (Usyk), 114-113 (Fury), and 114-113 (Usyk).

Oleksandr Usyk is the first undisputed heavyweight champion since November 13, 1999, when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in a rematch.
