Nigel Benn Confident Joshua Will Inflict Pain on Ngannou

Former world champion from Britain, Nigel Benn, is convinced that former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) has every chance to secure an early victory against Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs).

"I'm really pleased to see AJ looking like his old self again. He seemed a bit hesitant before. Ben Davison seems to have brought out the best in him. If he fights Usyk for the third time in this state, with the right attitude and mindset, I believe he would handle him.

I was very impressed by his last fight. He can go on to fight Fury and Usyk and then wrap it up. He's got Ngannou next, but who really is Ngannou, did he fight the best version of Fury? Where was Fury's head at? I think AJ will inflict pain on him.

If Joshua lands, he will cause him pain. I think AJ is too powerful for Ngannou," said Benn.

Joshua is set to fight Ngannou on March 8 in Saudi Arabia.
