Nick Ball Ready for a Fight Against Naoya Inoue

WBA featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg) Nick Ball (20-0-1, 11 KOs) shared his thoughts on a potential fight against undisputed super bantamweight world champion (up to 55.3 kg) Naoya Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs).

He’s a name that comes up a lot alongside mine, and he’s the fighter everyone’s talking about. He’s the kind of fighter I want to face.

I want to prove that I’m better than them. I want to show that I’m the best. So, yeah, he’s definitely someone I’d like to fight. If he plans to move up to my weight class, I want to show him that I’m the man here,” Ball said.

On October 5, Nick Ball will defend his title against Ronnie Rios (34-4, 17 KOs). Stats and key facts about the fight can be found here.

On September 3, Naoya Inoue defeated TJ Doheny (26-5, 20 KOs) by a 7th-round technical knockout.
