Next for Walters: Tough and Undefeated Challenger

Nicholas Walters, the ex-world champ with a record of 28-1-1 and 22 KOs, is lacing up his gloves for a February 17 comeback. He's squaring off against Canada's undefeated Lucas Bahdi (15-0, 13 KOs) – location TBD.

They're set to fight in the lightweight division.

Remember Walters? The 37-year-old who last faced defeat in November 2016 against Vasiliy Lomachenko? He stepped back from the ring until 2023, then bounced back with two smashing victories.

Bahdi's on a roll, too. He bagged two early wins in 2023, even snatching the IBF North American belt. He's currently ranked #11 in the lightweight division and #13 by the WBA.

Walters recently shared his countdown clock in boxing – how long before he hangs up the gloves for good? Stay tuned to find out!
