Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs), the former UFC champion and last year's professional boxing debutant, shared his thoughts on what sets Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) apart from Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), beyond their boxing styles.
"Anthony Joshua never resorts to trash talk. He's more serious, unlike Tyson Fury, who resembles more of a playboy. I believe when it comes to fighting, both know their craft well, and that's where my focus lies. Joshua might get nervous, but it means nothing. In fact, I think being nervous indicates he takes things very seriously. It's crucial because it means he'll do everything possible to be fully prepared on fight day," Ngannou stated.
Last year, Francis made his professional boxing debut with a loss to Tyson Fury but managed to knock the Brit down, earning a spot in the WBC heavyweight top-10 ranking. His next fight is scheduled for March 8th in Saudi Arabia against Anthony Joshua. This 10-round bout will be followed by Ngannou's planned return to MMA for at least one match.
