Ngannou: "If I Hit Someone, I Knock Them Out"

In an interview with Sky Sports, Cameroonian boxer and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou (0-1) shared his expectations for the bout against former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs).

"Of course, I believe in my power. If I hit somebody, I knock them out.

On the other hand, practically every fighter in our division has knockout power. The question is how to carry that power from the first round to the tenth so that there's an opportunity to knock out the opponent at the end of the fight. So, this is like a chess match.

I don't have any boxing experience, unlike my opponent. I'll have to use my fighting spirit.

Let me have no experience, but I know how to fight. I have the instinct and all that. I believe in myself," Ngannou said.

The fight between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua is scheduled for March 8th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
