Ngannou: "I Will Return"

Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou (0-2, 0 KOs) commented on his defeat in the match against Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs).

"I will go home, rest a bit, and reflect on what happened. It was a hellish day from the morning. I'll figure it all out and see what comes next. Maybe the next fight will be in MMA, but you can be sure that I'm not done with boxing. Definitely not. I will return," said Ngannou.

Earlier, PFL champion Renan Ferreira called out the Cameroonian for a fight: "I'm the real deal here. I strike and set records. Francis, where are you? I'm waiting for you. Come on, let's do this. I've always been ready to fight against the best in the world. Francis, we can meet in the PFL cage or in the boxing ring. Whenever you want, I'm ready," said Ferreira after his early victory over Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader.

Discussing his boxing career plans before the fight with Joshua, Francis said, "it won't be over until I face Wilder."
