Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has started preparing for a fight with the former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Ngannou is already conducting sparring sessions with heavyweight boxers Guido Vianello and Vincenzo Facetti.
The fighters posted photos of their sparring sessions. The training camp is taking place in Paris. Ngannou shared his plan to win:
"Nobody knows yet what I'm capable of. The fight against Fury is my debut in boxing. Like everyone, I am just improving, and the gap in improvement for a newcomer like me is huge. I am just a newcomer, I am improving.
I think I will most likely knock out Anthony Joshua. I think he is easier to beat than Fury. I mean, not that he is not a strong fighter. He is a very strong fighter, but it's easier to knock him down than Tyson, and it's harder for him to get up than Fury," said Ngannou.
The 10-round Joshua-Ngannou fight is scheduled for March 8 in Saudi Arabia.
