Mexican Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) and Ukrainian Denys Berinchyk (18-0, 9 KOs) will face each other on May 18th in San Diego, USA.
For Denys, this will be his first fight for a full world championship belt in his professional career. Navarrete is moving up to a new weight class for this title confrontation for the WBO lightweight belt (up to 61.2 kg).
Last time, Berinchyk fought on the undercard of the Usyk vs. Dubois bout and defeated Anthony Yigit. Now, he will be fighting right after the Usyk vs. Fury match, but in a different country. Navarrete has defended the WBO super featherweight title (up to 59 kg) three times—twice winning and once drawing.
The official broadcaster of the Navarrete vs. Berinchyk fight is ESPN.
