Naoya Inoue Signs Contract with Riyadh Season

Undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs) has signed a sponsorship deal with Riyadh Season. The agreement, valued at 3 billion yen (approximately $17.7 million), will feature the Riyadh Season logo on Inoue’s gear.

The head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, stated, "Inoue is the greatest boxer of all time. We are highly interested in the Japanese market and believe he will be an excellent ambassador for Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Season."

Naoya also shared his thoughts on the new agreement and his meeting with Turki. "You could feel he’s a true boxing fan. Fights in Saudi Arabia? It depends on the timing. My fight this year is already scheduled. What happens next year is still unknown. If there’s an opportunity to fight in Saudi Arabia, I’m ready to meet those expectations and simply show what I do in Japan," Inoue stated.

Naoya Inoue’s next bout is set for December 24 against Sam Goodman (19-0, 8 KOs) in Tokyo, Japan.
