Inoue Defends Title with Knockout Victory

On February 24th at Kokugikan, Japan, WBA World Bantamweight Champion Takuma Inoue (18-1, 4 KOs) successfully defended his title against Jerwin Ancajas (34-3-2, 23 KOs). The fight concluded in the 9th round, with Inoue delivering a knockout blow to Ancajas.

Inoue seized the title on April 8, 2023, through a unanimous decision victory over Liborio Solis. Ancajas, in his previous bout, secured a win against Wilner Soto, knocking him out in the 5th round.
