Egis Klimas, manager of world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, shared inside information regarding talks to fight Tyson Fury.
"I can't talk much about the Usyk-Fury talks because we're still working. There's no agreement on the fight yet, we're just working on it. Hopefully in about a week we can make a big announcement for the fans. Possible venues are Saudi Arabia and London.
Of course, I saw Usyk sparring with Fury on social media. I'm a part of that and I'm very proud of it because it's not often that you get an undisputed world champion, especially in the heavyweight division. I think this is the biggest fight in history," Klimas said in an interview with the Boxing Social YouTube channel.
Recall that the Ukrainian has not yet signed a contract to fight with the “Gypsy King”. Their unification bout is expected to take place in the spring of 2023.
