“It Would Suck” – Muratalla on Possible Lomachenko Retirement

IBF interim lightweight champion Raymond Muratalla (23-0, 17 KOs) shared his thoughts on a potential fight with IBF full world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs), who has not yet confirmed his next move.

– Right now, my top priority is a fight with Lomachenko.

– And if Vasyl doesn’t come back? How would you feel about that?

– It would suck, but what can I do?

– When do you think the fight could happen?

– As soon as everything’s agreed — I’ll be ready.

On May 10, Muratalla defeated Zaur Abdullaev by unanimous decision to claim the IBF interim title.

Vasyl Lomachenko last fought on May 12, 2024, stopping George Kambosos via 11th-round TKO.
