Munguia Working with Canelo's Trainer – Confirmation from Eddy Reynoso

Reports have emerged that Mexican boxer Jaime Munguia has begun training with Canelo Alvarez’s renowned coach, Eddy Reynoso. The news was officially confirmed by Reynoso himself.

"Yes, we are working together now. We've been training for a week already," stated Reynoso.

Alvarez and Munguia fought in the spring of 2024, with Canelo winning by decision, having knocked Munguia down in the fourth round. Following that loss, Jaime fought twice – scoring a knockout victory over Erik Bazinyan but later suffering a shock knockout defeat to Bruno Surace. The latter was considered by many boxing outlets as the biggest upset of 2024.
