Former world champion American Timothy Bradley states that Mexican contender Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) is dangerous for the undisputed super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) champion Saul Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) at this stage of his career. Bradley urges not to write off Munguia.
"Jaime Munguia is a dangerous fighter for Canelo at this point in his career. He's bigger in size, throws more punches, and hits harder. If Munguia can develop a really good jab, that's exactly how he'll beat Canelo. Keeping him at bay with that jab throughout the fight.
It's going to be a great fight. I'm telling you – incredibly spectacular. And don't count Munguia out," said Bradley.
The fight is scheduled for May 4th in Las Vegas, USA. This will be Canelo's first fight against a Mexican opponent since 2017.
