Munguia Knocks Out Ryder!

On January 27 in Phoenix, USA, a fight for the WBC Silver belt in the super middleweight division (up to 76.2 kg) took place between the Mexican Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) and the Briton John Ryder (32-7, 18 KOs).

The fight ended with an early victory for the Mexican. Jaime knocked out his opponent in the ninth round.

This is the second consecutive loss for Ryder – last year he lost by judges' decision to Saul Alvarez. The last time Munguia won by knockout was in 2022
