Moses Itauma Could Get an Interim Belt Fight. There's a Possible Opponent

World Boxing Organization (WBO) President Gustavo Oliveri revealed that British prospect Moses Itauma (11–0, 9 KOs) might face Australian prospect Justis Huni (12–0, 7 KOs) in a bout for the interim heavyweight title.

"The top fighters in the rankings are tied up with future bouts, making them unavailable. Moses Itauima, without a doubt—if we work our way down the rankings and such scenarios emerge—will be the next one to step in. I'm not asserting that it will definitely happen, but it could, as Moses is in line for an interim title shot," Oliveri explained.

Itauima secured a first-round knockout over Demsey Makkin in his preliminary fight. Meanwhile, Guni achieved a stoppage victory in the second round during the undercard showdown between Opetaia and Nyika.
