Morrell defeats Agbeko and defends title
Cuban David Morrell, the WBA World champion in the second middleweight division, defended his title for the fifth time by defeating Ghana's Sena Agbeko.
In the 2nd round, Morrell cornered his opponent and unleashed a series of blows – the referee stopped the fight. TKO 2.
This bout became the highlight of the last Showtime event in history, as the legendary broadcaster will no longer cover any sports.
For Morrell, this marks his seventh consecutive early victory. In April, he defeated Yamaguchi Falcao in the 1st round.
