"It's the Right Time for Kambosos to Win," says Moloney

WBO bantamweight (up to 53,5 kg) world champion Jason Moloney (27-2, 19 KOs) shared his expectations for the bout between fellow Australian IBO lightweight (up to 61,2 kg) champion George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) and Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs).

"Six days after my fight in Japan, I'll be in Australia to support my brother and George Kambosos. I hope they both win. We've had a lull lately, but over the next month, four world champions could emerge, which is very exciting.

George against Loma is a tough fight. I have a lot of respect for Lomachenko, but in boxing, timing is everything, and for Kambosos, it might be the right time to win.

Of course, Lomachenko was incredible in his last fight with Haney, but sooner or later, time catches up, and George may have the right moment right now," said Moloney.

The bout between George Kambosos and Vasiliy Lomachenko will take place on May 12th in Perth, Australia. In addition to the IBO belt held by the Australian, the vacant IBF title will be on the line.
