Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has disclosed plans for a bout against the former world champion in eight weight classes, Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs), towards the end of this year.
"A fight with Manny Pacquiao? Anything is possible. It might happen in December.
The Saudis are 100 percent changing the game," McGregor wrote in a story on his Instagram.
McGregor hasn't fought since the summer of 2021, when he broke his leg in a match against Dustin Poirier. His only boxing match took place in 2017, where he was defeated by technical knockout in the 10th round by Floyd Mayweather.
Manny Pacquiao last boxed in 2021, losing to Yordenis Ugas by judges' decision. Following that fight, the Filipino planned to participate in the Olympics, but the International Olympic Committee announced a ban.
